热火助教克里斯-奎因

另据名记Marc Stein透露，克里斯-奎因（热火首席助教）和乔丹-奥特（骑士助教）有望成为太阳队新任主帅的最终候选。两人将与太阳老板马特-伊什比亚进行会面。
另外，太阳新任总经理格雷戈里最近还会面过其他几位新帅候选，包括肖恩-斯威尼（独行侠助教）和约翰尼-布莱恩特（骑士助教）。
雷霆助教戴夫-布利斯原定与格雷戈里进行面试，但由于正在为NBA总决赛做准备，所以未能成行。
