维尔茨将在今夏转会离队，因此勒沃库森需要在攻击线上引进新援。目前主帅滕哈赫正在考虑转会市场，并且关注安东尼的情况。滕哈赫2020年至2022年在阿贾克斯就曾执教安东尼，而2022年滕哈赫在出任曼联主帅后，随即签下了安东尼。但安东尼在曼联表现不佳，被视为失败的引援。
去年10月滕哈赫在曼联下课，而安东尼在今年1月就被曼联出租到贝蒂斯。不过安东尼在贝蒂斯效力期间恢复了状态，在西甲联赛出场17次，打进5球助攻2次，并吸引了勒沃库森等球队的关注。安东尼和曼联的合同在2027年到期，而贝蒂斯也想要留住安东尼。
德国天空体育记者弗洛里安-普莱滕贝格表示：“勒沃库森俱乐部正在关注转会市场，希望在不同位置上引援。边锋是一个可能引援的位置，但并不是一个必须引援的位置。”记者还透露，勒沃库森的今夏引援取决于维尔茨和利物浦的转会交易，目前维尔茨的转会仍未正式确定。
除了安东尼之外，勒沃库森还在关注尼科-帕斯。这位阿根廷国脚在去年夏天以600万欧元转会科莫，上赛季出场35次，打进6球助攻9次。皇马有权以800万欧元回购尼科-帕斯，而勒沃库森希望引进他。
