今年交易截止日前，湖人曾做成一笔交易，送出克内克特+雷迪什+2031年无保护首轮和2030年首轮签互换权，得到马克-威廉姆斯。不过之后湖人在体检中发现马克-威廉姆斯有很多其他伤病问题，不止是他长期以来的背部伤病，因此取消了这笔交易。
