谈到前队友雷迪克执教湖人，保罗表示：“挺酷的，伙计，我每天晚上还是会看比赛，所以赛前有时会和JJ聊天以及比赛的策略。”
“想到他曾经是我的队友，而现在作为主帅执教一支球队，并且在战术上敢于创新，如果你有机会就必须得这样做，JJ在那里做得非常出色，能和他对阵仍然感觉有点不真实。”保罗说道。
据悉，雷迪克和保罗在2013-17赛季曾在快船当过4年队友。
